PROJECT ARCHITECT / ARCHITECTURAL INTERN

Responsibilities include: 

  • Design and construction document development for execution of a variety of new construction and restoration projects; and
  • Overall team management to ensure and complete project assignments and reviews.
  • Leadership, project management, and client relationship skills and experience.
  • Work with clients and team members to solve problems of all types: design, production, estimates, schedules, details, etc.
  • Skilled in analytical thinking to support the design process
  • Self-motivated individual able to work well in a collaborative office environment
  • Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace is an essential function of the job.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture;
  • Architectural registration (or on track) preferred;
  • 3-5 years of professional experience;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;  
  • Solid Revit and AutoCAD Skills required; Sketch-up skills preferred;
  • Self-starter and independent problem-solver;

JOB CAPTAIN

Responsibilities include:

  • Under the supervision of a Project Manager or Principal, plan, and coordinate complete sets of architectural documents, coordinating engineering documents and collaborating with the production team in all aspects of the preparation of construction documents.
  • Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development
  • Prepare comprehensive construction drawings and specifications
  • Conduct existing conditions surveys and prepare architectural base plans, sections, elevations and details as requested
  • Review all shop drawing/sample submissions and consult with the Project Manager and Project Designer to ensure that the design intent is being maintained

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent job related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in architecture, or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software required

CAD OPERATOR

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepares plans for new or modified structures
  • Responsible for using CAD and Revit software for layout diagrams, schematics and construction documents

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • Degree in Architecture/Drafting Design/Engineering technology or equivalent job related experience
  • Must be proficient in Auto CAD and Revit (1 – 3 years of experience). Experience drafting in Architectural Field preferred.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the architectural field.
  • Ability to learn and perform standard computer techniques, CAD, and Revit functions in accordance with firm drafting & quality standards
