The Chapanoke Project is a 200-unit, 235,000 square feet housing project located in South Raleigh. The project consists of three five-story residential buildings, a free- standing community building and support structures. Financed by Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program, the design will provide one, two, and three bedroom units for tenants with an income of 60 percent Area Median Income (AMI). All units will be designed to meet current NCHFA mandated energy standards. The construction is expected to start in 2026. The project is being developed in partnership with the City of Raleigh and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency.
