TKa is excited to be involved in the design of a series of “small houses” to be located in a three county area in the mountains of Western North Carolina. These free- standing, new construction homes will target individuals and families which are living within 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The goal is to create simple, clean, contemporary structures that will generate a sense of pride of place for their owners. Three neighborhoods are currently planned, with each neighborhood containing 25 to 30 homes. Construction to start in late 2025.
