Carolina Avenue Apartments
New Bern, NCCarolina Avenue Apartments is a living community of 84 one, two and three bedroom rental apartments for families that were financed through the North Carolina Finance Agency’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program. The development was designed to provide replacement housing for residents displaced by Hurricane Florence that devastated the City of New Bern in 2018. Displaced residents were given priority status in the rental of the new units. Developed in conjunction with the City of New Bern, the New Bern Housing Authority and Mosaic Development, the project was awarded in 2018 and was put-in-service in 2020.
